We started very well and managed to compete for the whole of the first quarter, finishing the quarter level on points. Unfortunately, we lost our altruism in the second quarter and struggled to get close to their basket and take shots or make them, whereas they kept scoring. We found a better rhythm in the last quarter and managed to score a few more baskets and, although we lost, we were competing well considering the gulf in court time and practice hours between the two sides. There were flashes of brilliance from our boys and we need to harness these and progress as a team. A good effort all the same, boys! Thanks to Hayden for stepping in as my assistant coach again.
