We started really well in our group games, dominating possession and passing the ball around the pitch really well and effectively.

vs Tockington 3-0: Thomas and Jacob combined well for the first goal, Max added a second, before Robbie saved a penalty right on half time. This kept Tockington at bay and the third goal from Thomas sealed the win.

vs Wycliffe B 5-0: Michael scored an early goal but that was it for the first half. In the second half we ran away with it with further goals from Jacob (2), Thomas & Ton.

We then had an hour's wait until the semi-final vs Beaudesert 0-2: Once again we created lots of chances but the goalie was outstanding, especially when coming off his line with the one-on-ones. We conceded a very scrappy goal when we had several chances to clear and a moment of hesitation cost us a second. We still had time to get back into it, and had the chances that our play created but it wasn't going to go in - frustrating...

However, you should be really pleased with the way you played, a good style of football. really determined and competitive with good teamwork. Especially well done to Jacob who impressed all watching on the touchline!
